Cryptopsy - New EP Available For Streaming

Montréal extreme metallers Cryptopsy release their new EP, The Book Of Suffering Tome 1, today on October 30th. This is just the first in a series of EPs the band has in store for their fans. Kampfar - Debut First Ever Video

Kampfar will release a new album soon called Profan quickly after Djevelmakt came out. Indie Recordings will release it on Friday the 13th of November but there is some new songs to hear before the official release. Scar Symmetry - Bassist Quits

Scar Symmetry has announced the amicable departure of bass player Kenneth Seil, who has been with the group since 2004 as one of the founding members. He will now pursue other things. The Swedish metal band has recruited Andreas Silén on bass and Benjamin Ellis on guitar (of Propane Headrush and Bloodshot Dawn fame respectively) to help them on their tour with Eluveitie and Epica.

Ereb Altor - Covers Album Coming In February

Ereb Altor chose to record 7 Bathory classics for a special vinyl only release entitled Blot - Ilt - Taut (which is old Swedish and means "Blood - Fire - Death"), where they praise with reverence and much respect the mighty works of Tomas "Ace" Börje Forsberg (Quorthon) who sadly passed away in 2004. Witchcraft - Reveal New Album And New Single Details

Swedish stoner doomsters Witchcraft recently announced the release of their new album, Nucleus, the first in four years. Now they have unveiled the release date, tracklist and cover for the band's eagerly anticipated record. So, you have a bit of eye candy before the music comes. The first single, The Outcast, will be released on 7" vinyl (black, clear) and as digital download on December 4th and will exclusively be available via the Nuclear Blast Mailorder. Black Sabbath - Add Second Leg Of North American Tour

While we still don't know who will be behind the drumkit on Black Sabbath, the legendary English band from Aston, Birmingham will embark on their farewell tour next year. Due to overwhelming demand, the road to The End just got longer. After adding some European dates to the trek, the heavy metallers have now added more dates to their North American tour. These shows will follow a mix of summer headlining and festival performances throughout Europe.

At The Gates - Announce US Shows With Decapitated, The Haunted

No rest for the wicked. Swedish melodic death metal masters At The Gates have announced a string of U.S. tour dates to follow after their appearance on the 70000 Tons Of Metal 2016 cruise. Dantesco - New Video Online

Puerto Rico doomsters Dantesco recently posted a video online for the tune "Venancio" from their newest EP of the same name. The quartet will release their new EP four years after the latest self-titled album. Get immersed in the doom on the video below. It it based on a Puerto Rican folk tale of Venancio the fisherman who, in a cold night, burnt his holy cross for warmth and is now cursed to walk the island in search of the ashes of his cross because only that will deliver him from his undead existence.
