Decapitated - Survive An Emergency Landing, Cancel Upcoming Festival Shows

On Tuesday, November 1st, a plane going from New York to Warsaw, Poland, had to make an emergency landing after a technical malfunction prevented the plane from lowering it's wheels. Miraculously, the plane made it down just fine and there were no casualties. Polish death metallers Decapitated were on the plane. Due to that fact, the band decided to cancel their upcoming shows in Aalborg and Leeds.

As We Fight - To Disband At The End Of The Year, New Video Online

Danish metalcore band As We Fight have announced that they will disband at the end of the year after 10 years.

Here it is the official statement: "After 10 years we have decided to end As We Fight. It has been one hell of a ride with many memorable experiences, but it is time for new adventures for all of us. A huge thank you goes out to all the bands, labels, venues, festivals and partners crossing our road and not least all the people, who came out to our shows making it a time to remember! We are looking forward to go out with a bang with our upcoming tour with The Psyke Project, and we hope to see you all."

Metallica - Writing Material For New Album, First Ever Indian Show Cancelled

British heavy metal legends Judas Priest announced the release of a special compilation album entitled The Chosen Few. The songs were chosen by some of the biggest names of the hard rock/heavy metal world, who picked their favorite Judas Priest songs for the band's forthcoming compilation album. The Chosen Few will be out October 11th via Legacy/Sony.

Sick Of It All - To Re-Record Old Songs For A New Compilation Album

New York hardcore legends Sick Of It All announced that they will be releasing a new record entitled Nonstop on October 31st in Europe through Century Media Records. The album will consist of twenty songs from the band's catalogue, which have been re-recorded by the band to celebrate their 25th anniversary. Speaking about Nonstop, drummer Armand Majidi stated: "This whole thing is partially because of working with Tue Madsen - the man who has finally made SOIA sound the way we should in the studio."
