Arch Enemy - Announce 7" Split With Kreator

This October/November, melodic death metal heavyweights Arch Enemy will be returning to North American soil to tour in support of their new, critically acclaimed album, War Eternal. To celebrate this headlining trek, the band will be releasing a split 7" with Kreator, who are direct support on the run. Available starting at the Baltimore show on October 23rd, you can purchase this exclusive transparent red 7" (limited to 500 copies) at the merch table; a dark red 7" (limited to 500 copies) will also be available on their European tour, which sees Arch Enemy as direct support to Kreator.

Monster Magnet - Premiere New Animated Video

2013 saw the release of stoner metal unit Monster Magnet's latest album, Last Patrol. Now comes Milking The Stars: A Reimagining Of Last Patrol, which is due on November 18th via Napalm Records. To promote this new release which is a re-imagined version of Last Patrol and features four new songs and live tracks, the band releases a new video. Vixen - Update On New Album

Recently, glam metal group Vixen's bassist Share Ross and guitarist Gina Stile were interviewed in St. Charles, Illinois. The band's forthcoming album will include one song dedicated to the band's guitarist and founder Jan Kuehnemund, who passed away in October 2013 after a battle with cancer. AC/DC - Share New Album Cover Artwork And Tracklist

Australian rockers AC/DC have shared online the cover artwork and tracklist for their impending new album Rock Or Bust. The album will be released on December 2nd, 2014 and features 11 new tracks recorded in Spring 2014 at Warehouse Studio in Vancouver. Sadly, guitarist Malcolm Young is suffering from dementia and will not return to the band or tour with them next year.

American tech death metal band The Faceless is mourning the death of their former vocalist Mikey Domingo. There's not too much information about it but Domingo was in the band briefly even though he didn't record anything with them. R.I.P.

The Skull - New Song Streaming Online

Former members of the legendary band Trouble (specifically vocalist Eric Wagner, drummer Jeff "Oly" Olson and bassist Ron Holzner) have joined forces with members of Pentagram and Sacred Dawn to form The Skull, a unit readying their debut LP due out on November 4th via Tee Pee Records. The band's first album titled For Those Which Are Asleep shows off their doom chops and features "Till The Sun Turns Black," a tune which is currently streaming here for your listening pleasure.

Steel Panther - Share New Video

"Pussywhipped" is the new video from glam metal jokesters Steel Panther, and can now be seen below. The clip was directed by Dean Cameron, who previously worked with the band on the "Fat Girl" clip from the Feel The Steel album. This is already the third video the band releases from their most recent album All You Can Eat, which came out this year. It's Steel Panther, so you know what to expect.

Within Temptation - New DVD/Blu-Ray On The Way

Currently on tour in North America, Dutch symphonic band Within Temptation are releasing a new live DVD/Blu-ray/2CD. Let Us Burn - Elements & Hydra Live In Concert is set for release on November 14th and features two of Within Temptation's most talked about arena shows ever. Tank - Entering The Studio In November

British heavy metal veterans Tank are currently writing and rehearsing material for the follow-up to their 2012 album, War Nation. The band is scheduled to enter the studio in November to begin recording the new record for a tentative early February release. Joining guitarists Mick Tucker and Cliff Evans on the new album will be former DragonForce frontman ZP Theart, who has been a member of Tank's touring lineup for the past two years. And also new recruits Bobby Schottkowski, formerly of Sodom, on drums, and current Blind Guardian member Barend Courbois on bass.

Ensiferum - Nearing Completion On Recording New Album

Ensiferum have been locked away in Astia Studio in Lappeenranta in Finland with producer Anssi Kippo for three weeks. Drums, bass and most of the guitar parts have been recorded for their new album which is tentatively scheduled for release worldwide on Metal Blade Records in early 2015. At the end of last week, guest musician Timo Väänänen tracked some takes with his kantele (see below), and over the weekend, vocalist Petri Lindroos began tracking vocals. It's almost done.
