American metallers Steel Prophet's much awaited new album Omniscient will be released by Cruz Del Sur Music in 2014, both on compact disc and vinyl formats. It will be their first new album since Beware (2004). The album will be released in June 2014, when the band is scheduled to return on tour in Europe after their successful 2013 headliner show at the German cult festival Keep It True. The power metal band has now signed a contract with AFM Records for the release of their second album next year that will follow When Worlds Collide. Blind Guardian guitarist Marcus Siepen has also joined the group's ranks full-time. The band is working on the new material and has been recording it since October.

Greek heavy metal heroes Battleroar have entered Devasoundz Studio in Athens to begin recording their new album, Blood Of Legends, for an April 2014 release via Cruz Del Sur Music. The follow-up to 2008's To Death And Beyond is being produced by Thymios Krikos (InnerWish) along with the band. Blood Of Legends will be the first Battleroar album to feature Sacred Steel vocalist Gerrit Mutz, who joined the group last year. It also marks the recording debuts of bassist Stavros Aivaliotis and guitarist Antreas Sotiropoulos.
