Machine Head - Release Live Video For 'Now We Die'

The Crown - Complete New Album Recordings

Swedish death/thrash purveyors The Crown have returned to Metal Blade Records for a multiple album deal. The group has just finished recording their new, currently untitled long-player at Studio Fredman, and the record "promises to be one of the biggest surprises of the upcoming year." Metal Blade will release Iron Crown, the first single from the upcoming album, as a limited 7″ on January 12th. Make sure to check out a video teaser of the song below.

Sons Of Apollo - Announce First U.S. Tour

Sons Of Apollo, the new progressive metal group who has released their debut album, Psychotic Symphony, last October via Inside Out Music, has announced their first U.S. tour dates. The band is known for joining together once again former Dream Theater members Mike Portnoy and Derek Sherinian with bassist Billy Sheehan, guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal and singer Jeff Scott Soto.

Primal Fear - Recording New Album, Release In 2018

Power metallers Primal Fear are at it again! The German band is back in the studio working on their upcoming new album, Apocalypse. Twelve brand new crushing tracks have been selected, out of 30 newly written tracks, which will be produced by Primal Fear's own Mat Sinner and engineered and mixed by Jacob Hansen at Hansen Studios in Denmark. The album is tentatively scheduled for release in mid-2018 via Frontiers Music Srl to follow Rulebreaker.

David Ellefson - Resurrects Combat Records, Announce New Signings

Some of you might remember Combat Records as one of the seminal thrash labels of the 1980s, their most prominent artist being Megadeth. Combat was also home to Helstar, Circle Jerks, Exodus, Nuclear Assault, and many more of the most influential metal and punk bands around. Megadeth's bassist David Ellefson and his EMP Label Group will be resurrecting the Combat Records label in 2018. Leviathan - Stream Demo Album 'The First Sublevel Of Suicide'

Leviathan recently announced the release of The First Sublevel Of Suicide which features five tracks straight from Wrest's hidden vaults. On December 1st, Ascension Monuments will unleash the previously unreleased, 40-minute demo recorded between 2002 and 2003 that would serve as the basis for the project's highly-influential debut studio album, The Tenth Sublevel Of Suicide. This is the first time the demo has been made available for public consumption and will be the first of several planned releases from Leviathan via Ascension Monuments Media. 2018 Grammy Awards - Best Metal Performance Nominations

The nominations for the 60th annual Grammy Awards are here!
