The artwork was once again created by Erik Rovanpera, who already designed the cover art of the band's debut album, and shows a mystical creature inspired by the epic track "Medusa Child". HIM - To Break Up, Announce Farewell Tour

Following a long radio silence, Finnish band HIM have announced a farewell tour, closing the final chapter on their 26 year career. Formed in 1991 by vocalist Ville Valo, guitarist Mikko "Linde" Lindström and bassist Mikko "Migé" Paananen, HIM "offered the world a new take on the metal genre, which became known as Love Metal (also the title of their fourth album)". Now, four years after the release of their last studio album, Tears On Tape, the band is saying farewell, taking in 14 countries across 35 shows for their final goodbye.

Stone Sour - Reveal New Album Title

Sweden based blues rockers Blues Pills will return to European stages this summer! Besides a number of festival gigs, the band will play some selected headlining club shows within their Lady In Gold tour cycle. The rockers just kicked off their current European tour on March 1st.

Quiet Riot - James Durbin Introduced As New Singer

Heavy metallers Quiet Riot have announced yet another change in the frontman position. "American Idol" alumnus James Durbin has replaced Seann Nicols as the singer of the band. Nicols was with Quiet Riot for just a few months, but long enough to record the vocals for the band's upcoming album, Road Rage (due April 21st on Frontiers Music). The California-born singer James Durbin, who placed fourth on Idol, will make his live debut March 18th in Wichita, Kansas as the band does a few North American dates during the next two months.

Converge - 'Jane Live' Streaming In Full

The monumental Converge album Jane Doe was performed and recorded live in its entirety at Roadburn Festival 2016 in The Netherlands and is now being released as Jane Live. Vader - Announce European Tour With Immolation

Prepare for a death metal feast! Polish death metal legends Vader and New York's death metal masters Immolation have announced that they will both be touring on a co-headlining tour in Europe this coming April. Vader will be headlining the six shows, with Immolation co-headlining. Also supporting will be Austrian brutal death metal troupe Monument Of Misanthropy, with more supports to be announced in due course.

Behemoth - To Tour With Slayer And Lamb Of God

Behemoth have announced a tour of heavy-hitters. The Polish extreme metallers will join forces with Slayer and Lamb Of God for a "Satan-approved triple bill of Biblical proportions" Summer tour in the United States. The tour starts on July 12th in Bemidji, MN and wraps up in Phoenix, AZ on August 20th.

Ensiferum - Begin Work On New Studio Album

Ensiferum recently entered the Astia studio in Lappeenranta, Finland, where the band recorded a few demo songs for their upcoming seventh full-length, set to be released September 2017 via Metal Blade Records. This means that the quintet will soon return to the Astia studio to begin recording this new album, which will be produced once again by Anssi Kippo (Children Of Bodom, Impaled Nazarene, Entwine).
