Italian metallers Elvenking have issued the following update on their official website:

''While the band is still around Europe playing (thanks to all the fans who came to our latest gigs!) the Elvenking machine is still going on at full speed behind the scenes.

At the moment Dennis Ward is mixing the album in Germany, while on the other side of the planet, artist Samuel Araya (you probably remember him for the (in)famous Cradle Of Filth's Thornography cover for example) is giving life to the atmospheres contained in the album through his paintings.

And while the album production is taking its final shape, the band is ready to shoot the video for the new track "The cabal" on June 5th and 6th, with director Mirco Andreis who previously worked with the band on "The Divided Heart" video.

The time is slowly coming..."

"Rotting Christ's frontman Sakis has been involved in a car accident in which he has sustained injuries to his leg that will keep him glued to his bed for at least a month. Unfortunately this means Rotting Christ have been forced to postpone their upcoming South American tour.

As you all know, we were really looking forward to these shows and are gutted and very sorry we can't make it over, but we promise all our Latin American Hermandos that we will be back in October for an even more extended tour of your continent!

German metallers Grave Digger have issued the following update on their official website:

"Hello Fans,

Yes, everything's on it's way, we're right in the middle of the recordings to the successor of the Ballad Of A Hangman and a lot has happened since the release of the that album. Nothing stays the same, but nothing has changed.

From January to March, we took our time for the new songwriting. Because of the appearance of Axel, we finally returned to the virtue, that we've lost that long ago. The triumvirate of metal, Jens Becker, Axel Ritt and Chris Boltendahl battened in harmony while the whole songwriting session and created 12 explosive songs, which got the spirit of Grave Digger for two-hundred percent. Since the days of Tunes Of War and The Grave Digger, the creativity around the songwriting process hadn't got that easy going.

Axel already recorded the rhythm guitars in his own meadow studios, accompanied by some drum programmings done by Stefan. At the end of the month, We'll enter the Principal studios to record drums, bass, vocals, keyboards and some guitar overdubs. Of course, from now we'll keep you informed about our activities with some short videoclips. Stay tuned!

At the upcoming weekend, we'll do some rehearsal with the whole bunch at the TLC studios, to practice all songs of the new album and check out the live playlist for the upcoming festivals. We're highly motivated, more than this, we're burning. The fourth decade of Grave Digger has begun! For all of you, who can't hold off their curiosity; the concept album is dead, Long live the concept album!... Bye for now.

"For those who have not heard the news; Agent Steel has parted ways with vocalist Bruce Hall Steel Prophet] on good terms. We're still writing new material for our upcoming 6th studio album that we plan on recording sometime this year. We will issue a press release regarding our "search" for a new vocalist; who knows? We may have one already... so stay tuned."

Only a few days after Agent Steel announced having parted ways with Bruce Hall, the band now confirmed that none other than original vocalist John Cyriis has returned to the fold - which is fan-fucking-tastic news!

Here's the official word from the band: "As some of you may or may not have already heard the news that Agent Steel has parted ways with vocalist Bruce Hall. We as a band would like to acknowledge the accomplishments together with Bruce and the three solid metal offerings; Omega Conspiracy, Order Of The Illuminati and Alienigma'. Together we had the fortune of touring and sharing the stage in some amazing places and visited some breathtaking countries. Bruce dedicated over a decade to Agent Steel and for this he should be recognized, and we part on good terms. We as a band still have the fire and passion to deliver the metal goods to fans from the past, present and future.

We had been writing new material for the next chapter of Agent Steel and after the news got out that we separated from Bruce, we were contacted by original singer, John Cyriis. Call it destiny; call it what you will, but now the communicative channel is open between Agent Steel and vocalist Cyriis; we are in talks about an imminent Agent Steel reunion tour possibly involving summer/autumn 2010 appearances and an extensive "2011" metal blitz.

Honestly, we do not know how long this reunion will last; however this could be the long-awaited destiny of Agent Steel originally interrupted, so long as everything moves forward in an evolving good working climate. Our objective regarding this Agent Steel reunion is attached with the intentions of providing the opportunity to not only the dedicated fans, but also to a whole new generation of metal fans the chance to see Agent Steel live on stage with Cyriis; the original voice on the classic Skeptics Apocalypse, Unstoppable Force and Mad Locust Rising releases. French metallers Adagio will headline FKRock Festival in Kherson, Ukraine on May 21st 2010.

Comments the band: "After a succesful European tour supporting Kamelot, we're very happy to play in Ukraine for the first time. This festival seems to be one of the most important rock event in Ukraine (Within Temptation headlined last year) and we're very much looking forward to meeting the Ukrainian metalheads next month. The show will be entirely filmed in HD as we're planning to release a DVD sometime next year. So far, we have a lot of video footage featuring some cool live stuff and above all, some very crazy moments (...particuarly in Japan and Spain).
