Kauan are releasing the follow up to the highly acclaimed, Sorni Nai, this September 22nd. An album trailer has been revealed along with some details about the upcoming album, Kaiho. Kauan stated that the new album will focus on childhood and the transition to adulthood, when the death of a loved one shatters halcyon beginnings and makes clear the stark reckoning that awaits in the end. Again, the songs will be sung in Finnish and the lyrics have been written by Finnish folk singer Marja Mattlar.




Kaiho is the first album to be released through Kauan's own label kauanmusic.

The album trailer launched on the Kauan YouTube channel was directed by Eugene Mazurenko and can be enjoyed in the link below. Furthermore, the band announced that with preordering Kaiho an instant download of the song "Lapsenmuisto" is received.
