Blood Feast - Former Drummer Passed Away
U.S. death thrashers Blood Feast confirmed that their former drummer (2014 - 2017), Joe Moore, has passed away. Joe contributed his share on the band's latest "comeback" record, The Future State Of Wicked, from 2017.
Statement from the band as follows: "We are very sad to announce that the Blood Feast flag flies at half mast for our fallen brother Joe Moore. The first member to pass. Joe was a bundle of energy and it showed in the future state of wicked album. He reminded me of animal from the muppets on the drums, I wanted to chain him to the wall like animal. Sometimes I would say 'step back the drummer is going to blow' when Joe would go crazy and fast, we would look at each other while looking at the house kit he would have to play on and he would look at me and I’d tell him you know what you have to do to it don’t ya. And he would be like yup! Kill that mother fucker! And believe he would. Joe could be a mad man on the drums, and I would tell him go faster and more fills lol, he said I was the only to tell him that…. I’m kinda proud of that. We had so many amazing memories with Joe, his first plane ride, 14.5 hrs, I was a bit worried about him but he did great. He was like a kid in some ways ,he hadn’t been out of state much less out of the country so it was fun taking him and showing him new things , and the excitement he had. I really enjoyed those times.
"We all love you Joe, thank you for being our friend a brother and a band mate. We will never forget you and you still live through your drums on the future state of wicked album. You will be in our hearts forever... I called Joe about six weeks ago and we did say goodbye to each other… see you on the other side… All hails Joe (motherfucking) Moore… 1/13/67-3/8/22. Gone but never forgotten."
