The cost isn't the problem; it's getting there. I live too close for a plane ride and too far for a car ride.

What is the distance that is "too close for a plane and too far for a car" ? Never heard that such thing was possible

I guess six hours by car is too much, but that is just like an hour on a plane. So that might be what he's talking about.

Hmmmm possible. Probably a question of perspective too, I personally think 6 hours (or 7 or 8 for the matter) by car is not that much if you really want to attend a cool fest like this one.

Oooh but I am just trying to interpret things for you dear. I don't mind travelling either. There's nothing better than a long train ride before getting to a fest.

It takes me barely an hour from Copenhagen to Amsterdam and I still would take plane. xD

God I was just trying to explain what Vombatus had trouble picturing. Who the hell cares what is an hour away from your respective shitholes guys .

People aren't willing to spend an hour in a car to see this great line-up? I spend more time on the bus to get to downtown Toronto just to hang out with my friends on a weekly basis. Weak excuse is weak.

Actually, I somewhat understood what the guy was saying . Simply didn't find the "too far for a car too close for a plane" a credible excuse and wanted to know his perspective of this question.

For the record, I've already done several 10h+ by car for festivals with a worse line-up than this one, so as Troy said, weak excuse is weak.

But yeah, the line-up already destroys everything and just think of how much is left to confirm

I love travelling a long way for gigs. So I'm with you on this. Usually the travelling isn't the problem, money is. Hence my first post.

I love that Melt-Banana are there though. Such an odd but excellent choice.

I live in Erie, Pennsylvania. I'm not that a good a driver really, and I detest taking long trips. It would take me roughly 7-8 hours to go from Erie to Maryland, including stops.

But I really wanna just say fuck it and go. This line-up is way too good for me to ignore.
