Such a likeable album, I should've expected it to be heavy considering it's in our database, but I was still surprised how much they've pushed these non-metal sounds to be heavy.

Difficult to categorize; clear influences of darkwave, punk, doom, and a touch of that post-metal/blackgaze. The female vocals are dynamic. The mix knows when to push and pull, letting the heavy parts get in your face while the atmospheric sections seem distant.

Song writing carries this sense of dread, unleashing tension in choruses that catapult the track to new heights. A long listen, worth hearing several times at least. FFO: Cranberries, Paradise Lost, Type O Negative

Upon reading their bandcamp, this album was the result of a "one-take" jam session. It comes off that way. 14 tracks is a lot for any album and as a whole, the band decided to keep the fat. If they had taken a few tracks off this album it wouldn't be this expansive, gazing record as they may have intended. I would've trimmed it down, left a few tracks on the mixing room floor, and went with a tighter, more vicious cut of this album.

It's still great.
