Here it is, the second album from the mighty Italians of Rhapsody! We were many to wait for the release of the second chapter of the Emerald Sword Saga, and our hope wasn't in vain, and our patience was greatly rewarded. Warriors, hold your shiny sword up in the air, your fate waits for you! See, this is the effect this album has on most of us!

Symphony Of The Enchanted Lands is chapter two of the Algalord chronicles, the story Rhapsody told in 5 parts on 5 albums.

This second part opens with a mighty intro continuing with the mighty 'Emerald Sword', to me their best song together with 'Dawn Of Victory'.
Followed by the calmly opened 'Wisdom Of The Kings', a great

Such masterpiece! Why have I ignored this album?! Luca Turilli's a real genius! I'm not very fan of ROF, but I have to admit that it's perfect! It deserves to be in the Top 200!

Ahh... this album is special to me. It's my first (symphonic) power metal album and it totally awed me. I loved the knightly fantasy atmosphere that they created in this piece of pure brilliance. The mix of classic, baroque-ish elements with speedy and powerful powermetal really got me hungry for morem more, more! This album will always keep a special place in my heart.

And even after all these years, "Emeral Sword" gives me goosebumps. The good ones!

Another very good and enjoyable album. Imo it's a close call between this and Return Of The Dragonflame for the best Rhapsody album, but I think this one just edges it for me, due to the opening classic song "Emerald Sword", which has one of he best choruses ever written in power metal, and the closing epic track, which is probably the best of the closing epics written by Rhapsody, "Eternal Glory" is another great song, the rest of the album was good but those three songs were definitely the standout one's for me.
