More sofisticated power metal, with a little bit of opera, hard rock and a lot of magic and soul, if you are looking for a very noisy metal sound, then this is not your place. On his own style this is a total masterpiece, from the start on ghost in the moon til the end with Heart, still don´t like too much the maniac cover, but i totally accept it because the rest of the album rocks, a total masterpiece.

If you like epic songs go for Ravenchild or ghost in the moon
If you like power metal fast songs go for Book of shallows, the piper at the gates of dawn or requiem for a dream
If you like more hard rock songs go for Alchemy, Lavender, Heart or starlight
If you are a ballad guy let´s rock with Moonglow or Invincible

If you like geoff tate, Hansi Kursh, Jorn Lande, Tobias Sammet, Bob Catley, Ronnie Atkins... The this is your album!

An amazing album, even though it fizzles out after "Lavender". The songs here will always have a special place in my heart.
