This gives me an idea for a new list: Bands that mention other bands in their lyrics.

For example, Stallion with the song Meltdown:
"Raise your iron fist
all hail to Judas Priest
heavy metal breakdown
fly the jolly roger
cry out “I'm a rocker!”
working class meltdown"

Since this list was created, I’ve been waiting for the day when a smart aleck, pedant, bean counter, and know-it-all would come along to mention that one very special band that manages to include its name in every one of its songs. And not only that, this particular band even managed to work its name into the first song of its first and only album, as the very first word of the first line of the first track.

Now 491 days of waiting have passed, and that incorrigible pedant has finally arrived.
That pedant is me, and the band is called I.
