The music is pretty derivative but I couldn't help noticing the potential for a more dynamic sound buried in there; it's almost like they were trying to keep within a 'thrash' playstyle at the expense of something more memorable.

The softer instrumental parts are what I find most memorable about this album, there is some nice guitar playing in those parts, as opposed to the thrash side of things. I find nothing special about the songwriting, and most songs I find are generally weak with a lack of interesting riffs.
