Considering there was an 8-year wait between the last two Seventh Wonder records, that it’s only taken an additional 4 years for The Testament to be released makes its arrival almost feel sudden; let’s hope the trend continues and it’s only 2 years until the next one.

Looking forward. This is a great band and prog power releases in general are rare % wise compared to other genres.

Now this ought to be really good stuff. Seventh Wonder have always been one of the better prog metal bands around, or at least one of my favourites. Definitely looking forward to this album.

The last release was commercialised, and most likely hasted. At which cost, the freedom to contemplate the songwriting process may have been disrupted. A shame, when money becomes the priority over creativity. Great band, although the presence of this vocalist has compromised the potential for a consolidated, overall metal sound. Due to the wreck of emotions expressed, Seventh Wonder may categorise as a pop-metal outfit (along the lines of Babymetal, Evanescence, and few under the metalcore banner). Yeah, I know he can sing, he should have been a popstar. The opportunity to poach a vocalist, not dedicated to personal feelings, but to the direct focus of metal, and allowing them to contribute to the songwriting process, would elevate Seventh Wonder from 'pretty good' to the level of INSANE.

Great album, so much emotion and innovation in the songwriting, with lot's of great melodic moments, and the vocals are great too, although it's a little on the soft side for the most part, but that isn't any real issue. "I Carry The Blame", "The Red River" and "Elegy" are the highlights for me.

"The Red River," "Mindkiller," and "I Carry the Blame" are absolutely outstanding additions to the band's best tracks.
Tommy sounds phenomenal... moved me to tears.

Tommy should really just stick with these guys, so much better than what Kamelot has become.

I think that this album is most similar to Waiting In The Wings than any of their other albums. Incredible, incredible release. I can't stop listening to it.

Twice through and sure it rocks but maybe The Light got my hopes a bit too high. It's by far my favourite song here along with the instrumental Reflections. Nothing wrong with performance and production but I wished the other songs would have hit me harder. Probably will grow on me as every Seventh Wonder album has done it in the past.

Weaker than their other albums. Too soft and standard.

Very solid release, some of the strongest pacing I’ve heard from them, at least until the last few songs or so which are good but the length starts to become a bit more noticeable then. Love these guys.

Ordinary men hate solitude. But the Master makes use of it, embracing his aloneness, realizing he is one with the whole universe (Lao Tzu).

Sounds very much like rush. Good progressive rock album. Pity, didn't find much metal here.

For me the vocal is the only minus point with this band. Very melodic and progressive riffs which doesn't take you to boring lengths of 10 plus minutes. Maybe bcoz I hated the vocalist who seems yo be very cheesy and pop-ish, i loved the track 'reflections ' very much.....just instrumental.😎

In the beginning I was made of clay. Then I bit the apple and they changed me to metal 🤘
