The first album to strike that perfect balance between thrash and death metal so far this year is Visions Of Infinihility, brought to you by Carnosus, and this could well end up being amongst the most memorable releases of its kind come the end of the year.

Great news! Dogma Of The Deceased was one of my favourite Death albums of 2020, and I still listen to it quite often. Looking forward to see if they get even better with their second album.

I don't remember their debut, but both singles from this album have been super tasty and remind me of Konkeror, a band that I wished made more music.

Well, it's another easy 8 for these guys. It lacks a stronger identity to get closer to a 9 or 10, but it's very well executed and entertaining. This one explore more technical realms, and that works really well for them. Can't say which of their two albums I like best, both are great.

I'm genuinely astonished by this album, it's short but tasty, and very well executed, the technicality, the structure, the flow, is all top notch. This style is nothing that hasn't been attempted before but they have done a remarkable job with this imo.

Sounds rather like progressive death metal. Where's the "thrash" part in there?

Yeah, you guys are right - no thrash, neither here nor anywhere else in their discography.
To me, they sound very much like The Black Dahlia Murder, hence a blend of technical and melodic death.

Deathcore ?! God.. I'm not one to debate much on labels, but come on, no core to be heard here at all. Prog / tech death sounds right to me.

I am sorry if i went wrong coz i am no master in assessing correct genres. I try to compare with few other bands with same sound and style and get into a conclusion. But i am sure there is no Thrash there...and Prog..??...hmm I dont know...I am no expert.
