Lots of good moments and a ton of potential, but ultimately a bit directionless.

Hell yeah, I’m excited for this! Although I will say the vocals are weird on Throes of Atonement, but the rest was still very good. I hope that it keeps the same quality as the other two parts in this trilogy, I’ve really liked them.

I thought this is better than the last two, at least is more consistent overall. And the last one song is a great epic song...

Bad English
Tage Westerlund
As theology is last of their Reader Of The Runes series, I cant even decide if its best, worst or in a middle. I prefer first parts artwork, thats for sure this has weakest one.

I've been enjoying my time with the album greatly, on spin number 4 so far. My one complaint has been the guitar (mostly rhythm) getting buried by orchestrations in some parts, notably on "Season of the Owl" there is just so much going on I can barely make it out at times. Otherwise the album is fairly pristine in production, drums sound excellent, for example on the closing track's blasting section. I think the band is in great form here, closing out the Reader of the Runes trilogy in style.
