I liked their last album but haven't gotten to this yet. I'm guessing it's another great combination of filth and chaos?

I'm only vaguely familiar with the last one from the odd song on Youtube, but that's a definite description of this one.

Looks like the only kind of black I can stand these days is the most extreme kind that mixes with hardcore, grind, or sludge. And this doesn't disappoint. I don't know if I prefer this or the previous, I need to listen to them back to back for that. For the previous, I wrote down bm/grindcore/sludge elements, and the latter seem to be absent from this release. I have the impression this one is faster, with a cleaner production.

Solve Et Coagula is my favorite, but Agnus Dei is very close in quality. Like you said, this one has a cleaner production, and I really think the filthy/grimy/lo-fi-ish production fits their sound better.

Exactly, that extra grease just added to the whole experience. This one is still massive, but it sounds almost too accessible for what they're trying do, but succeeded in doing in SEC.
