But the situation is unrecoverable. We are just evacuating people as fast as possible in hopes to get people out before the next storm hits potentially. It’s awful.

Yes it is pretty terrible. Three of my siblings lost their homes, farms and everything and that area doesn’t have any flood insurance so they are basically destitute. I am going up tomorrow to work with the relief effort

I remember this weather scientist here saying to watch for devastating storms in America this year about 6 months ago due to la Nina weather pattern here, bizarre.
