I just listend to the Spiritbox album, to see what it was all about. I am tired of mainstream going ohhh a frontwoman...there are plenty of actual good bands out there with frontwomen, Messa comes to mind
I remember dipping my toes into "Heir To Despair" and being put off by the vocals. I didn't try very hard though. Once I'm off work I'll take a listen.
Yeah, Imaginary Sonicscape is the big classic. Most of their albums sound quite different from each other, so there's no guarantee you'll love or hate any based on one, but IS gives you the best overview.
