Burden Of Grief - Split With Guitarist And Drummer
Long-running melodic death metal outfit Burden Of Grief have parted ways with two members, guitarist Johannes "Joe" Rudolph and drummer Jan Breede. Joe was part of the band since 2006 and Jan since 2018. The Germans are now in the search of permanent replacements.

Burden Of Grief - Announce New Album
2014 is a special year for German melodic death metallers Burden Of Grief. The group finished the recordings of the band's upcoming album and already received the first rough mix from Dan Swanö, who is responsible for the mix and the mastering of the album. The band also revealed that Gustavo Sazes - who has worked with bands such as Legion Of The Damned, Elysion, Arch Enemy or Sonic Syndicate - will once again create the cover artwork.

Burden Of Grief - New Album Details, Song And Label Announced
Burden Of Grief are set to release their new album Follow The Flames. Here are the details:
"After many weeks of quiescence we are back with a vengeance and with tons of news for you guys. Our new album Follow The Flames is completely finished and ready to take off. We have recorded 10 songs, which in our opinion are the strongest Burden Of Grief songs so far. And in addition to these songs we have recorded 8(!) coversongs for a limited-edition 2-CD version. And to put a crown on top of this, we had the honour to have some highly reputated guest-musicians singing together with Mike.

And we are very happy to announce that we have inked a new deal with our old record-label Massacre Records again. The album will be released this summer and we are looking forward to a successful cooperation."

Burden Of Grief - Line Up Change
Uli and Dirk are no longer a part of BURDEN OF GRIEF.
After some personal problems during the last months we unfortunately had no other choice to make
this very hard decision. We regret much that it had come so far, but under these conditions we saw no more future for BURDEN OF GRIEF. We wish both all the best !!!
But we are pleased to be able to present you our new line-up. New guitar-player will be Johannes 'Joe' Rudolph (from GUTLOCK) and new bass-player will be Florian Bauer (from TWILIGHT PROPHECIES). The first rehearsals went very promising and we are planning to enter the studio around August/September '06. Due to the working on the next record we will play just a very few shows this year.
