In a recent interview on Full Metal Jackie, Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi has confirmed that he has begun working on new material for a new solo album. If it surfaces in 2025, it will be his third solo album in a row, following 2000's Iommi and 2005's Fused. Iommi also confirmed that he is working on a new solo song to coincide with the upcoming release of his second signature cologne, which will be another collaboration with Italian luxury perfume house Xerjoff.

Italian thrashers Game Over have amicably parted ways with vocalist, bassist and founding member Renato 'Reno' Chiccoli. After more than 15 years of live shenanigans all over the world (Europe, North America, Japan and even China), and five full-length albums released, Reno decided to pursue other musical endeavors. The new frontman & bassist of the band is going to be Leonardo Molinari. The latter will made his live debut on June 17, when Game Over will directly support Megadeth in Milan. The four-piece is currently working on the follow-up to the latest album Hellframes.
