Thy Art Is Murder - Stream Lyric Video, Releasing 3-Way Split

In December of 2015, three bands with three different approaches to aggressive music, but a common outlook on the world, came together to create a collective piece of work - The Depression Sessions. Those three deathcore bands were Thy Art Is Murder, The Acacia Strain and Fit For An Autopsy and on August 12th, Nuclear Blast Entertainment will release the results of this experience both digitally and on limited edition vinyl. Today, you can check out out the lyric video for the first single "They Will Know Another". The song, as well as their cover of Rammstein's "Du Hast", are the last pieces of music the band recorded before the departure of vocalist of CJ McMahon.

Drudkh - Announce Split With Grift, Share Song

Drudkh are on a roll with splits this year and will release a new split after One Who Talks With The Fog / Pyre Era, Black!. The Ukrainian black metallers have premiered the first track taken from their new split, Betrayed By The Sun / Hägringar, with Swedish underground one-man act Grift, out on September 16th via Season of Mist. Kataklysm - To Tour North America With Carach Angren

Another tour for North America. This time, it's extremists Kataklysm and Carach Angren joining forces on the road this September. Later this year, Kataklysm will also tour in Europe on the European MTV Headbangers Ball Tour. As for Carach Angren, they will also join Marduk and Rotting Christ in North America.

Ancient - Set New Album Release Date, Stream Track

This year, Ancient are finally releasing a new album, Back To The Land Of The Dead. The Norwegian extreme metal titans have set the release date for their long awaited 7th studio album, the follow up to 2004's Night Visit. The album will be released this September 16th in North America via (Megadeth bassist David Ellefson's) EMP Underground/EMP Label Group, and in the rest of the world by Soulseller Records. Testament - Releasing New Album In October

Testament have already set and announced the release date of their new album. The Brotherbood Of The Snake, as the album will be called, drops four years after Dark Roots Of Earth, this October 28th! The album will be mixed by Andy Sneap and will be the band's first with ex-Death bassist Steve DiGiorgio since 1999's The Gathering. You can start anticipating it.

Alestorm - Announce Super Smashed Turbo Tour

The Body - Announce Collaborative Tour With Full Of Hell

One Day You Will Ache Like I Ache is the latest collaboration between The Body and Full Of Hell. Now, they confirm a collaborative North American tour in support of the joint full-length. The live takeover begins on August 19th in Vancouver, British Columbia and tramples its way through nearly two-dozen cities, the tour drawing to a close on September 10th in Providence, Rhode Island. The journey will find both bands executing their sonic deviance as one unit, as well as performing new versions of old songs from each of their respective discographies.

Cult Of Luna - Debut Video, To Perform 'Mariner' On Tour

Cult Of Luna have shared a couple of good news recently. In terms of live appearances, they have announced 5 exclusive European shows where they will perform Mariner, their collaboration with Julie Christmas, in its entirety. The shows happen in November with Julie Christmas and there are no plans to perform the album live again. Within Temptation - Start New Album Songwriting Process

Recently, Within Temptation performed at the French festival, Hellfest Open Air. Beforehand, the band also took part in a press conference at Hellfest in Clisson, France where they talked about their next album. The follow-up to Hydra (2014) is being forged and the songwriting process has started. For now, they are still keeping most details under wraps.

Epica - Announce Tour With Fleshgod Apocalypse, The Agonist

Epica are returning to North America for the North American Principle Tour. For this trek, the symphonic band is presenting their new album, The Holographic Principle, and is taking Fleshgod Apocalypse, Arkona and The Agonist with them for the ride. The first three dates will see Germany's Xandria as a replacement for Arkona. The tour kick off will be on November 4th in Québec City and will conclude December 3rd in Worcester, MA.

Mastodon - Working On Double Album

Here's an update on Mastodon's new album. To follow Once More 'Round The Sun (2014), the band is planning a double album, according to guitarist/vocalist Brent Hinds. He told Guitar World that he is busy preparing Giraffe Tongue Orchestra for their live shows and forthcoming full-length debut and Mastodon are also working on their next record.

Kontinuum - Join Season Of Mist, Preparing New Album

Iceland's post-metallers Kontinuum have found a new home for their music: Season of Mist. The band has released two albums so far, Earth Blood Magic and last year's Kyrr, nominated on Metal Storm Awards 2015 for Best Post-Metal album. Their next full-length release will come out on this label.
