In Flames - Drummer Quits

In Flames have lost another long-time member of the group. Drummer Daniel Svensson quits the Swedish band to spend more time with his family. The metallers are currently touring in Europe and that will be his final tour. He will dedicate himself to a brewery soon and focus on his family life. Who will be the new guy behind the drumkit? We will have to wait and see.

Ritchie Blackmore - Unveils Lineup For Rock Shows

Legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore will perform Rainbow and Deep Purple material at select European shows next year. The U.K. concert will take place on June 25th at the Genting Arena in Birmingham. The performance will be Blackmore's first U.K. rock show in over 20 years. The two shows in Germany will take place at the Monsters Of Rock festival on June 17th, 2016 at Freilichtbühne in Loreley and on June 18th, 2016 at Festplatz am Viadukt in Bietigheim-Bissingen. Blackmore will be joined by Lords Of Black singer Ronnie Romero, Stratovarius keyboardist Jens Johansson, Blackmore's Night drummer David Keith and bassist Bob Nouveau.

Girlschool - To Release New Album, New Song Online

British heavy metallers Girlschool will release their 13th studio album, Guilty As Sin, on November 13th via UDR Music in red colored vinyl, digital download and a deluxe ecolbook formats. The all-girl quartet is finally releasing the follow-up of Legacy (2008). Sister Sin - Break Up

Swedish heavy metal act Sister Sin are no more. Formed in 2002 in Göteborg (Sweden), the outfit recorded 5 albums and one EP and now broke up surprisingly. The band fronted by Liv Jagrell took a break and the lack of motivation from some of the members means the band is now over.

Moonsorrow - Finish Recording New Album

According to their official Facebook page, it seems safe to assume that Moonsorrow has just finished recording their new album. No more details have been revealed at this time, but we can surely expect to hear more from the folk metallers in the near future. One thing's for sure: the follow-up to Varjoina Kuljemme Kuolleiden Maassa is nearing completion. Stay tuned!

W.A.S.P. - 'Golgotha' Lyric Video Released

W.A.S.P. have released Golgotha recently, their brand new album and first in six years. The metallers led by Blackie Lawless have been doing a lot of touring to promote the record and now premiered a new lyric video for title track "Golgotha". Named after the hill where Jesus Christ was crucified, "Golgotha" (which means "place of the skull") continues the exploration of Biblical horror stories that W.A.S.P. employed on Babylon. As for this video, it partially shows the death of Christ from the perspective of the ones crucified with him that day.

Suffocation - Obliterating North America 2015 Tour Announced

New York death metal veterans Suffocation will embark on the Obliterating North America 2015 Tour later this month. The band will play the Housecore Horror Film Festival in San Antonio, Texas on November 14th and decided to add six special shows to the trek as well. The obliteration begins on November 12th in Sanford, Florida, with stops in New Orleans, Indianapolis and closing on November 18th in Toledo, Ohio.

Beseech - New Album Coming In 2016, Details Unveiled
