Venice Beach crossover thrash legends Excel have announced a new lineup, with founding members Dan Clements (vocals) and Shaun Ross (bass) joined by guitarist Greg Cerwonka (Take Offense, Cold Stare, Rod Of Correction, ex-Turnstile) and drummer Damon De La Paz (Posercorpse). The band have also announced that they have begun working on new material for their first studio album since 1995's Seeking Refuge, tentatively due later in 2024 or 2025.
