I always thought that Aborted, the 2005-2008 era had a good proportion of hot/above average looking guys. None of them looked like gods, but... err... IRL I'd have tapped 4 out of those 5 people .

I never look at bands' pictures. Unless they're one of my favourite, there is never a time I go looking at their faces, they're usually so ugly .

Ouch. That was harsh. No one deserves to be compared to Cynic AND be called a bully at the same time . It's like you killed me once and came back to exhume the body and finish the job.
That's the thing, my tastes in men changed a bit, and I rarely find metal musicians handsome now. But here, in the metal/hard rock section of course. I could name thousands if I didn't set those boundaries.

Henry Rollins. Looks a bit weird sometimes, and he's a bit old now, but still. That's a man right there.


Vreth from Finntroll has a cute face, but err.. juuuust a little beefing up wouldn't look bad.
There's also a young Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam) maybe.
Trent Reznor, when he's not in his goth or androgenous periods.
Oh, and Chris Cornell.

Yes, I don't mean it in a sexual way, rather as an platonic appreciation from one man to another.

I could be the most handsome guy in metal. I just need to lose 40kg.

He has surely been mentioned here already (I’d be disappointed if he hasn’t), but I think David Gold from Woods Of Ypres was one of the most handsome frontmen in metal. He could have easily been an actor, or a model - or both. It’s terribly sad that he passed away so young, especially because of his music. "I Was Buried In Mount Pleasant Cemetery" is still a song I could listen to or watch every day.

I would have agreed with the recent sentiment of Pete Steele and that legendary jaw... but then I was reminded of David Gold... good call.
