true, but they have that European power sound, and funny thing, in my opinion, is better than a lot of European power metal bands.

Cool picks especially the lesser known ones like Domine, White Skull, Dionysus, Last Tribe, Mob Rules etc. I agree with almost all of them and would add a few more as well (you can check my 2 lists if interested).

The ones which I don't find that great are Nightwish, Stormwarrior, Rhapsody and Kiuas.

I agree with being better than almost any other power metal / prog power metal band, be it European, Japanese or other continents. However, they do have a unique style and sound and I don't agree that they adopted the European style 100%, they are one of the more original bands out there.

Maybe I should not have said that Angra is better than a lot of Europower band, when for me it's rare that I find bands to enjoy, one of my least favorite metal subgenres. But I've always enjoyed Angra, I listened to Fireworks when it came out and enjoyed them every once in a while ever since.

I put the LOL emoji there because it's funny that one of the best Euro-power sounding bands is not even from Europe.

Since thread necromancy it's a sport in this forum I will introduce my self here. Nice to meet you all and nice to see a European forum about music.

I'm not listening to metal music as much as other genres but I do like power metal, I always liked it.
