Hear 'n Aid - Stars
1986 Stars… Remember Usa for Africa? Well this is Heavy Metal for Africa a Catastrophic nonprofit record project. Dio band, Ronnie J Dio, Vivian Campbell Vinnie Appice and Jimmy Bain compose a song named Stars, the song its not good enough So they invited some friends to make it more interesting to help the African child’s… They joined with various Heavy Metal Gods like D. Coverdale, R Hallford, G Tate, B Dickinson, Kiss, Motley Crue, Quiet Riot, Malmsteen ,T Iommi… unfortunately the song was too bad and weak, plus the high ego doses in the interpretation make it worse. At that time Wendy Dio Said : the project leadership and participants were well aware that the funds raised from similar events such as Band Aid were squandered due to governmental corruption as well as suffering from general disorganization,Yes maybe thats a good answer of why they fail, unfortunately the song was really bad and no one can make it sounds better even the Metalgods. |
