When proclaiming that a once all-conquering band is back on form, there are degrees to which a band can return to form. Is this the next The Black Halo or Ghost Opera? No. Is it the best thing that Kamelot have done since then? I reckon so.

I was very sceptic after hearing the songs released before the album, sounded very tiresome. Now as a I listen to the whole thing I actually think it's a alright record. It's a lot better than The Shadow Theory and I also think I enjoy it more than Silverthorn. The stand out tracks are Midsummer’s Eve and Bloodmoon.

Well guys, I gave it some 3-4 spins, but honestly I cant stand the sound of hi-hat. or the sound of some synth-lines, I dont know really. I use to listen to music by headphones and there is something very disturbing here. definitely horrible production. maybe compression? I am no audiophile but I know something is too wrong here... when I return to their back catalogue, I cant hear anything similar there. does anyone else hear the same as I do?

Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I loved this album. My favorite of theirs since Ghost Opera.

Still need to spin this more. There are some songs I've had on rotation on and off (Opus of the Night is my favorite Tommy Era song without question), the reason for my higher rating, but as a whole it hasn't really captivated me as previous albums have. As for comparisons with the Shadow Theory, I'm not sure I prefer this over that. But that could be because I saw them in concert touring for TST twice, so perceptions could be skewed.
