For me, it's not because we talk a lot about a band that we can say that we did better to add it than another, maybe some users prefer the 25,000th profile.

But @Starvynth I get what you mean, completing a band profile and in the end few people consult it, it's frustrating but as long as someone discovers the band and appreciates their music that's enough for me.

I'll admit I always thought FIR was boring and super generic. I never saw what was so amazing about them.

People discover new music because it's talked about, but not because it's the 25,000th band in a database.

No, it's about introducing bands to users, promoting them.

Then please define your interpretation of "promotion". In my opinion, the tacit inclusion in a database is not advertising.
