Canadian progressive metal mastermind Devin Townsend has announced a special show, The Retinal Circus, for October 27th, 2012, at the Roundhouse in London.

Here's what Devin has to say about the show: "The show is being called "The Retinal Circus", (named after an old Vancouver club in the 60's, famous for psychedelic rock shows) and will be more than just a musical performance... there will be an art exhibition, actors, Ziltoid, stilt walkers, fire breathers... you name it. My goal has always been to make shows, and this is the first opportunity I have been given to do a high-end production that puts it all together! Once again the album was produced in the Twilight Hall Studios in Krefeld, Germany, by Victor Smolski and Charlie Bauerfeind. The artwork of 21 was created by Felipe Machado (Blind Guardian, Rhapsody Of Fire).

NPR is now streaming online Cormorant's new release Dwellings in its entirety at this location. The album will be independently released worldwide on December 6th. NPR has named Dwellings the best metal record of 2011 and goes on to say: "an emotionally and musically complex album which wrestles with our desperate and sometimes violent attempts to secure a place in history.
