Evergrey have just entered their rehearsal studio to prepare their next album. Recording for the new album is scheduled to start in February next year, and continue through until March. A tentative release date of May 2007 has been set.

Here is a comment by vocallist/guitarist Tom S. Englund: "So far the material sounds about the heaviest and darkest we have released to date".

Next year Death Metallers Vader will hit Japan for a tour. Their 'Extreme The Dojo Tour Vol. 17' will feature themselves alongside Brutal Truth and some other as-yet-unconfirmed acts. According to a posting on the Megadeth fan site Rattlehead HQ, Image Entertainment's website has updated to show the front cover of the upcoming live DVD and CD from Megadeth.
Entitled "That One Night: Live In Buenos Aires", the disc was filmed at Obras Stadium, Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 9, 2005, when Megadeth headlined the Pepsi Music Festival on their "Blackmail the Universe Tour". During this show, Dave Mustaine announced that Megadeth would continue and played a one-off rendition of "Coming Home" as well as playing the rarely heard song from "Risk", "I'll Be There".

According to the Image Entertainment web site, the track listing for "That One Night: Live In Buenos Aires" is as follows:

This year's X-Mass Festivals European tour, which was scheduled to include appearances by Gorefest, Belphegor, SkyForger, Madder Mortem, Darzamat and Prostitute Disfigurement, has been cancelled. The trek was originally slated to kick off December 8 in Berlin, Germany and run through December 19 in Paris, France.
The festival had to bear with a lot of band cancellations and line up changes...

Dodo Datel, frontman of the Slovak doom metal Galadriel, announced that the new design of the website is because of the band's new forthcoming album. The album will be called "Renascence", and it is going to be released next spring. (Due to some technical problems Galadriel scheduled the recording of new album to March 2007. The group's video for the track 'Severe Emotional Distress', from the band's latest album "The Scattering Of Ashes", was shot by up-and-coming director Kevin Wildt (Set Your Goals, The Warriors).

Tim Roth (guitars, vocals) checks in with the following report: "It's a full-blown blizzard here in our hometown, so we have been chilling out indoors. We plan on hitting the road on Jan. 13th for a Western Canadian tour, which will lead to an appearance at the Seattle Metal Fest on Jan. 20th. Hopefully, we'll see everyone out on the road soon!

The band is ecstatic about our new video, 'Severe Emotional Distress,' which is our first true promotional video. I think it turned out really well. Kevin did a great job producing the video. The storyline goes perfect with the aggressiveness of the song and the meaning behind the lyrics. Hopefully the video will open up new people to our band.
