Atrophy - Might Release New Music This Year
Atrophy vocalist Brian Zimmermann recently gave Into The Pit - The Metal Channel an update on the band's long-awaited third album - their first since 1990's Violent By Nature - which has slowly been taking shape for over the last five years. However, things might change sooner, as Zimmermann confirmed that the band has spent much of the pandemic working on the new record, which he said is almost finished and expressed hope that it will finally be released this year.

Týr - To Release Live Album
Folk metal formation Týr will release new live album/DVD, titled A Night At The Nordic House, on March 18 2022 via Metal Blade Records. The band deliver a stunning show performed live with the Symphony Orchestra of the Faroe Islands. This special event was recorded at The Nordic House in Tórshavn, the Faroes on February 8th, 2020. This album will be available on Metal Blade Records on 2 LP (gatefold, with insert, poster, digital download), a 2 CD/DVD digi-book set with 12-page booklet, and everywhere digital music is sold.

Ministry - Premiere Music Video For Song 'Believe Me'
Ministry have released a brand new video for the song "Believe Me", which appears on the band's latest album Moral Hygiene. The video clip was a departure from the two previously released professional videos from the album and became a total DIY effort, with each of the band members (also including drummer Roy Mayora, guitarists Cesar Soto and Monte Pittman, bassist Paul D’Amour and keyboardist John Bechdel) gearing up for the upcoming tour at home and purchasing an inexpensive green screen to contribute their parts to the performance footage that was then melded together.

In Extremo - Former Bagpipes Player Dies
Boris Pfeiffer, former bagpipes player of German folk outfit In Extremo allegedly died during an unannounced demonstration against covid-19 measures in Berlin, Germany on Monday.
The band writes on Facebook: "We were shocked and saddened to learn of the death of our long-time companion Boris.
24 years together on stage were more than just a moment.
Our thoughts are with his family!"
Pfeiffer left In Extremo in 2021 over undisclosed differences with the other members. He had been with the band from day one, recording 12 albums together.
