Virgin Steele - To Release 35th Anniversary Box Set With Three New Albums
Metal legends Virgin Steele just announced that they will release Seven Devils Moonshine on November 23rd, 2018. It's a special 5 CD box-set (a total of 88 songs) for their 35th anniversary where 3 CDs contain totally new songs and new versions. The package will also include a sticker and a 24 page booklet with new lyrics and photos by David DeFeis.

Faanefjell - Releasing New Album
Norwegian black folk metal worshipers Faanefjell will soon release a new opus called Dovrefall. It is due out on the 9th of November 2018 via Mighty Music and follows their debut and so far the only full length album, Trollmarsj, released back in 2010. The band is yet to release any new songs for streaming.

Dream Child - Launch New Video
Dream Child is a new heavy metal band, featuring 80's metal warriors, guitarist Craig Goldy (ex-Dio), guitaris/keyboardist Wayne Findlay (ex-Michael Schenker Fest), drummer Simon Wright (ex-AC/DC, ex-Dio), bassist Rudy Sarzo (ex-Quiet Riot, ex-Dio, ex-Whitesnake) and vocalist Diego Valdez. The group released their debut album, Until Death Do We Meet Again, on 14th September via Frontiers Music Srl. They now premiere also a brand new official video for the track "Midnight Song".

Verni - Streaming New Songs
Legendary Overkill bassist D.D. Verni launched solo project/band earlier this year, under the name Verni. Waylander - Bassist Leaves The Band
British folk metallers Waylander, who are currently working hard on their upcoming full length and should be released later this year, confirmed that their long time bassist Michael Proctor left the band. Michael was part of the band for the last 23 year, and gave his effort on all four studio albums that band released through the career. Waylander have already announced Steve Reynolds (ex-Sorrowfall) as the replacement for Michael.

Jan Egil Fosse, also known as Blod, has passed away. He was the drummer of black metal bands like Gehenna from 1998 to 2001 and Tsjuder from 1998 to 1999, and he was still active in a few bands like extreme metallers The Deviant. Born in 1975, he died on September 4th 2018.

Nasty Savage - Former Bassist Passes Away
Bassist Richard Bateman has died from a heart attack. Nasty Savage announced his passing recently. Bateman played briefly in the band back in 1989 and had stints in Nocturnus AD, Agent Steel and Iced Earth as well.
