A Thrash List But Not Exactly From A Thrasher

Thrash may not be my favorite metal subgenre but it's one of them. There have always been thrash albums I always get back to with great pleasure and I am usually happy when thrash veterans get back with great music.
I say not a thrasher because I am stuck in the past, as it's easily to be seen in the list, new bands have not impressed me much, especially when they predictably wear their influences on their sleeves.

Still a work in progress, this was harder than I thought, almost gave up and almost lost it all when I clicked submit.
If an album is not there, it either means I don't know it or I forgot about it. So whatever I forgot (and I enjoy obviously) will end up in the list.

I have and that guy is a thrash expert. I am not and i am not trying to be.
Just listing thrash albums that I love, some of them mean a lot to me.

I plan to update the list with some comments for certain albums soon.

Nice, I find a lot of albums I would put in my Top Thrash list, too (I am also stuck with 80s and 90s Thrash).
Many of them are obvious classics.
Thumbs up in particular for a not so obvious one: How will I laugh tomorrow.

I said to myself Anacrusis belongs to a thrash list, so I (re)listened to two of their albums today - 1991 - Manic Impressions and 1993 - Screams And Whispers, if i can't make up my mind which one, I'll put them both.

Good thought. Put the latter, it is much better than the former imo, in fact clearly their best.

Just wanted to drop some albums that I am sort of missing on your list, especially since it is heavily 80s/90s distorted.
Ever thought about adding them (you sure have, I am more interested in knowing why you did not add them)?

Show no mercy
Hell awaits
Doomsday for the deceiver
Epidemic of violence
The legacy
The Ultra-Violence

There are two Slayer albums in the list, might add Hell Awaits.
Demolition Hammer never did much for me.
I prefer Act III to Ultra-Violence, I want to add a latter day album by Death Angel (I need to listen a bit to decide which one), one of my favorite thrash bands.

Thank you for noticing Testament's debut album is missing , you are paying attention. I will add it to the list.

No intention of pushing you to add anything. This is your list, obviously.
Just curious, as always...

I don't see any Exumer on your list. There should be some Exumer on your list Their two 80's album are really good and you gotta love the album covers inspired by The Humungus from The Road Warrior (aka Mad Max 2). Also their 2016 album The Raging Tides is very enjoyable and especially the song Catatonic
