A Thrash List But Not Exactly From A Thrasher

Thrash may not be my favorite metal subgenre but it's one of them. There have always been thrash albums I always get back to with great pleasure and I am usually happy when thrash veterans get back with great music.
I say not a thrasher because I am stuck in the past, as it's easily to be seen in the list, new bands have not impressed me much, especially when they predictably wear their influences on their sleeves.

Nice list! I also love the music form the 80s and 90s (even though I never lived in them )
My favorite thrash albums of that era:
Rust in Peace, Ride the Lightning, Symbolic (does that count?), Peace Sells, The Legacy, Master of Puppets, ...And Justice for All, The Sound of Perseverance (this should count), Show No Mercy, Metal Church, Beneath the Remains, Arise
Some new albums that I like: Black Future (I saw that you didn't like Vektor - and I admit that they're hard to get into - but they're actually really good!), Terminal Redux, Misleading Evil (Hazzerd)
(By the way, as a physics student who does math all the time, I really like the picture you have for this list "Master of Numbers" )

Great to see some love for Terrible Certainty, I really don't get how Pleasure To Kill, Extreme Aggression, and Violent Revolution have much higher ratings. I think it's one of their best!

Awesome list, superb picks overall and some unexpected stuff. I like the variety. Already thumbed this up a while ago but figured I'd leave a comment.

80 albums

New discovery - Virtual from The Netherlands.
Their vocalist will later be in a progressive metal/rock band called The Barstool Philosophers. Also highly recommended.
