This still is so deliciously charming and warm. Traits that you almost NEVER find in black metal. Then again, the outside influences are mostly behidn that but still... It's been aeons since I gave this album (and the band in general) a proper listening. Loved it so much today. Of Mercury And Mercury is one of the best openings from 2000s black metal.

Osmose Productions really have a thing for thrash-inspired black metal, eh? Immortal, Absu, Melechesh... Anyway, I really like this style! Heaviness of death metal, speed and badass riffing of thrash, vocals and atmosphere of black metal - perfect combo of extreme metal
