@SSUS: Really? I had assumed so far that they must be quite well-known in the U.S. (like most bands that release their records on Jello Biafra’s label Alternative Tentacles).

Turnstile is great. I saw them in Belgium when they were no as famous (last minute cancellation of the band just before Metallica, they were directly propelled to the main stage), and it was a lot of fun.

Oh also Turnstile. Time + Space rules all. Glow On is great as well but that is just barely punk.

No way, Starvynth! I saw Leftover Crack in the tiniest of basement shows with Days 'N' Daze like a decade ago. Never heard about them before or since.

There's a lot of really good classic German punk (Hass, Slime, EA80), but if someone asked me about my absolute favorite punk rock band, it would be a hard choice between Propagandhi and Leftöver Crack.
