Pestilence - Reveal New Song, New Artwork For 'Hadeon'

Pestilence has released a new artwork for Hadeon, their new album set to drop in March 2018, and also the first single! The new artwork was created by Michal "Xaay" Loranc (Behemoth, Nile, Evocation, Vader, Necrophagist), a very talented Polish graphic designer whom perfectly turned Patrick Mameli's visions and concept into art! The first single-track from Hadeon, the song "Multi Dimensional", is the first appetizer to be released from the Dutch death metal legends.

Jungle Rot - Enter Studio In January

The follow-up to Jungle Rot's latest album Order Shall Prevail is finally coming out next year. The American death metallers will enter the studio on January 5th, 2018 to produce their tenth full length album. The titles slated to appear include "Delusional Denial," "Glory For The Fallen," "Stay Dead," "Twisted Mind," "Fearmonger," "Pumped Full Of Lead," "A Burning Cinder," "Triggered," "Full Scale War" and "Send Forth Oblivion."

The Night Flight Orchestra - Nominated For Swedish Grammy

Swedish supergroup The Night Flight Orchestra (featuring members of Soilwork and Arch Enemy) have been nominated for a Swedish Grammy Award in the category Best Rock/Metal for their globally acclaimed album, Amber Galactic. The awards will be presented on February 8th, 2018.

Into The Great Divide - New Band Featuring Mike Mangini

There's a new instrumental prog album on the horizon and it's courtesy of Into The Great Divide. In case you've never heard of them, their self-titled debut album drops on January 26th and they describe the album as an "instrumental progressive rock novel" with narration by voice actor Larry Davis, drums by Dream Theater's Mike Mangini, and produced by longtime Dream Theater and Rush producer Richard Chycki. As I Lay Dying - Tim Lambesis Apologizes In New Statement

As I Lay Dying's vocalist and founding member Tim Lambesis has broken the silence and released a lengthy statement apologizing for his actions. Lambesis made the news a few years ago and spent two years in prison after he pled guilty to a charge of solicitation of another to commit murder. He attempted to hire an undercover cop posing as a hitman at the time to murder his then wife, Meggan Lambesis, back in 2013. Speaking for the first time since his release from prison in December 2016, Tim Lambesis took to the band's Facebook page to express his remorse.

Katatonia - Going On Short Hiatus, To Re-Evaluate Future

Following their re-scheduled dates for the Baltics and Russia in February/March, due to recent issues and injury, these dates will mark the end of the touring cycle for Katatonia's current album, The Fall Of Hearts. According to the Swedish band, after much deliberation they have decided to put Katatonia on a short-term hiatus and their future seems uncertain.

The Ocean - Releasing 10th Anniversary Edition Of 'Precambrian'

Post-metallers The Ocean have recently launched the preorder for the 10th anniversary edition of their classic album, Precambrian 3xLP. It comes in the packaging of the original limited edition, and contains an extra bonus track: a brand new studio re-recording of 10-minutes opener "Rhyacian", featuring the current lineup with Loïc Rossetti on vocals, Paul on drums and Mattias on bass. Venom Inc. - Announce European Tour With Suffocation

Venom Inc. and U.S. death metal squad Suffocation are about to join forces! After both bands released new material in the form of Avé and ...Of The Dark Light respectively this year, they'll embark on a European co-headline run in March/April 2018. Roadburn Festival 2018 - Further Artists Announced

The Roadburn line-up continues to grow for their 2018 edition and recently, important new artist confirmations have been made. Now, the organizers have announced details of the first specially commissioned performances. Those include Dark Buddha Rising who will unite with Oranssi Pazuzu to form the Waste of Space Orchestra. The performance will include ten musicians onstage plus an original video accompaniment, designed to tell a parallel story with the music. Elsewhere, Jacob Bannon has added Godflesh (performing Selfless in its entirety), Motorpsycho, Thou, The Body and Forgotten Tomb to his curated event.

Midnattsol - Liv Kristine Joins Band, New Album In The Making

Midnattsol has a second singer now. It's none other than Liv Kristine of Leaves' Eyes and Theatre Of Tragedy fame. She will now sing right next to her sister Carmen Elise Espenæs in the band.
