Sweden's melodic black metal band Wormwood have just released a new music video for "Ro", the newest 10-minute preview track off their upcoming album The Star. The latter drops May 31st. The video clip was directed by Isak Skagerström Sindre.

Bassist Anders Iwers (known from his work with Tiamat, Avatarium and Ceremonial Oath) has officially joined Dark Tranquillity as a full time band member after spending quite time playing bass on live shows with the band. The announcement was made recently. Daniel Antonsson had been the previous full-time bassist of the Swedish group.

Tuomas Saukkonen's Wolfheart will release a new album, titled Shadow World on August 21st through Spinefarm Records. We finally begin to know more about the successor to Winterborn. In 2012, after years of pouring his creative juices to innumerable projects, like Before The Dawn, Dawn Of Solace, Black Sun Aeon, etc, Saukkonen, who was the mastermind of them all, decided to disband all of his groups and start from scratch with Wolfheart. It has now been revealed that shortly before beginning the studio sessions for the upcoming 10th studio album Construct, Dark Tranquillity has amicably parted ways with bassist Daniel Antonsson and the main reason is that Daniel wanted to focus on his own musical projects as well as working more in his recording studio. Being first and foremost a guitarist, he felt that the playing bass in a full-time band didn't allow him much time for his main instrument and true passion.
