German Power Metal? uh-oh this sounds like everything I've ever heard from that country, don't waste your time listening to it.

Now, that's what I would have said if this was another German copycat band, but rest assure, they're not! As a matter fact, Boomerang, despite the weird name, are truly great! Sure this guys have influences, like everybody, we cannot blame them for that, because, like I always say.. we got to have influences right?

This Weaveworld reminds me of those older releases of Helloween, raw, almost trashy Power Metal, with a raspy vocalist, who doesn't try to hit every high note. The songs are well composed, but some aren't so great, that means, yes, there are some fillers, but also some killer ones, like the opener "Morning Sun" great song, catchy chorus and fast drumming! What else you could ask? Next is "Keepers Of Light" another great song, great catchy chorus, this son reminds me of Helloween?

I'm not usually fond of these Power Metal bands, but Boomerang did good on my personal Power Metal scale, now, one or two things besides musicianship, the production is not so good, and the cover art is just awful, better watch out for these details next time, remember that some people buy albums based on the cover art.

Anyway, great piece of German Power Metal, some good songs, some not so good, but in general, It had it's moments, let's hope to hear more from these guys in the future, looking forward to it.
