The main issue here is that there are several "strong moments" but no "strong tracks."

"Mirage" and "My Prison" have an interesting first minute, but then go nowhere interesting.
"If You Dare" and "To the Other Side" have strong endings, but it's not enough to redeem the entire tracks.
"Stellar Hero" and "Rule the Show" have moments where a memorable melody seems to be forming - then the melody gets derailed and drowned out with muffled production.

If this is a collection of tracks the band came up over the course of a month while jamming, perhaps there's hope they could refine this somewhat unique sound and release a stronger sophomore album.
But what I fear is that this is a collection of work from the members that spans several years of ideas, which leaves me thinking the songwriting talent just isn't there.
