Sólstafir are ready to return with their eighth long player dubbed Hin Helga Kvöl (The Holy Suffering). Recorded at Flóki Studios in the remote Skagafjörður (Iceland), it will be out on November 8th via Century Media Records. This album features eight tracks blending Sólstafir's signature melancholic sound with elements from their past, merging black metal roots with tuneful, anthemic rock. Icelanders Sólstafir are excited to announce 'Nordic Descent Tour 2024', a headlining trek over Europe in November and December. Special guests and directed support on the road will come from Finland's psychedelic black metal unit Oranssi Pazuzu. Hamferð and Helga will be also performing on select shows.
