Wow, the lists just keep on coming. Good idea for one I have to say. A few I can suggest are; Paysage d'Hiver (Winterkälte), Leviathan (Massive Conspiracy Against All Life), Infestus (E x i | S t), Igorrr (Nostril), Gnaw Their Tongues (L'Arrivée De La Terne Mort Triomphante), Cloak Of Altering (Ancient Paths Through Timeless Voids), Murmuure (s/t), Hjarnidaudi (Pain:Noise:March), Sombres Forets (La Mort Du Soleil), Hlidolf (V01D), and Wormlust (The Feral Wisdom). If I think of anymore I'll be sure to let you know.
Edit: Added my favorite album by each suggestion.

Are EP's allowed on the list? If so I'd recommend Gallowbraid's EP Ashen Eidolon for this list.

You definitely like making lists. Don't you ?
Alex Lemon has mentioned all of the bands which I was going to suggest. So check them all
Also, I think making a list about the best EPs would be great idea. Someone do that please

Alcest is actually a two man band since 2009, so you can keep Souvenirs in this list

Well since you already beat me to the idea then, I think it'd be better to just give you some suggestions rather than being redundant and doing my own One Man list
1. Aarni: Finnish experimental doom project of Markus Marjomaa
2. Pensées Nocturnes: French neoclassical black metal project of Vaerohn. Has a very orchestral type of composition to it, which is pretty amazing for just one guy.
3. Botanist: American experimental black metal project of Roberto Martinelli. Very environmentally-themed lyrics/album art, and the only instruments the guy uses are drums, his vocals, and a fucking hammered dulcimer. Creates an amazing, minimalist sound, and Botanist are def one of the peak bands in the evolution of black metal over the past decade.
4. Sombres Forêts: Canadian black metal project of Annatar. Kinda neoclassical, with some beautiful piano and clean guitar at certain points, but not to the crazy point of Pensées Nocturnes. Probably the least experimental band I put on this list but still good.
Enjoy and keep finding good music!

Don't worry, a lot of them are already added and expect most (if not all) to be added eventually.

Thanks. I've been checking out quite a few of those and will eventually check them all out. However, I won't add the first suggestion seeing as that band only has demo's and split albums. Don't worry if I added the "wrong" album... your favourites might very well replace the ones I chose when I check 'em out.

I would say they're not allowed but I'll make an exception for now, simply because it's a great EP. And when the first full length album gets released in 2014, it's highly likely it'll replace the EP on this list.

Yep, I do like making them, hahaha. Hell, I'll probably do a sequel to this list: two-man band albums. But I'm not the right person for creating an EP's list because I barely listen to EP's anyway, so it would be an incredibly short list. Anyway, will check out Alex' suggestions, thanks.

Glad you like the idea. As I said in the shoutbox, for some reasons I thought the female vocalist on Sirenia's debut was actually a band member, hence why I didn't add it in the first place.

Added all of them. Like what I said with Sirenia was also pretty much the case with Alcest. Keep the suggestions coming (doesn't matter which genre of course).

Well, as I said you can still create your own list, but then with only black metal albums and not 1 album/band like I have here (so a more elitist list). Ah well, it's up to you. Anyway, added all of those. Especially Aarni was really great, definitely my cup of tea. Also Botanist was quite... unique. Not very accessible music, but somehow I still liked it.

Well, he uses a lot of guest/session musicians and those are not band members. That's why I added him. That being said, I just removed him from the list because although what I said is still true, he indeed doesn't fit this list seeing as pretty much every other musician on the list actually does do everything himself and Arjen needs guest/session musicians to complete his work. This is true for Sirenia as well, but seeing as it's only a session vocalist in this case, I'm keeping that one of the list (hell, for the sake of variety I also want a gothic album on here ). Btw, I don't like it when people don't give me suggestions.

Yes, I was about to check Bathory out but didn't get to that. Anyway, I just added Twilight of the Gods (will also check out at least the first Nordland album to see if I like it more, but for now I just went with the highest rated album on MS ).

I'm not sure if this list means STRICTLY one man bands or one man projects and their session musicians. I have a couple people who played ALL the instruments on one release or another...

Well, initially I did both one-man bands and one-man projects, but now only the one-man bands. Seeing as, for example, Ayreon uses session/guest musicians all the time I removed him because I feel he's out of place here. However, he's pretty extreme in that sense and there are barely any others like that, so if there's a case of just 1 session/guest musician, then I'll probably just add them.
Thanks for the suggestions and I'll check them out. No post-metal at all on the list as of now, so good you try to create a little more variety. Oh, and tell me which albums I need to check out of those bands.

Check out Liberteer.
Okay, will check it out but there's a chance I won't add it seeing as it's grindcore (which I dislike in general). I might make an exception for once though.

I've heard such thing about MoRT in this interview:
Q:Vindsval is solely credited on The Desanctification. What are the advantages to working alone?
A:The trilogy 777 is a very personal project - it was absolutely impossible for me to let someone else work on it. It was the same thing for MoRT - this is my soul and my flesh.
