I wrote the write-up for Capilla Ardiente's entry in this year's awards. And SSUS is right. I was referencing an older review @Dinruth: What I meant was that doom metal is often misjudged as being "only slow and gloom".
from the description of Capilla Ardiente: "Doom metal is often met by newcomers’ misconceptions regarding its pacing and atmosphere." I am 15 years into the game and still don't get it. Can someone help me out?
