I think I liked the debut much more. Somehow I didn't feel much anything when I listened this. Also, I don't hear much symphonic elements in this, maybe it's more melodic?

I agree about the symphonic elements. They are there but they are dulled down in the background. I also liked the debut a bit more. Still a good album though.

I feel on balance this album's got a fun general sound, but is missing song-specific memorable moments; His Riastrad stands out quite a bit, but the album needs a bit more songs that make a similarly strong impression

I agree with alot of the comments above, it's a solid album in general and an impressive effort all round, but there's nothing that particularly stands out from it. Sure it sounds great and has a quality production but I don't really find the melodies to be all that striking, for me the songwriting just needs that extra epic touch which seems to be some how lacking

Agreed. I really liked at first listen, but yeah nothing really stands out, and it got old pretty quick In my opinion
