New England Metal & Hardcore Festival 2015 - First Bands Confirmed
The annual New England Metal & Hardcore Festival has unveiled the first segment of bands that will be playing at The Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts on April 17th, 18th, and 19th, 2015. Testament - Fans Can Own Shares Of 'Native Blood' Song
After Queensrÿche offered investors a chance to buy a stake in the band, thrashers Testament are now following suit. The band is giving fans a chance to own shares of their song "Native Blood" (from 2012's album Dark Roots Of Earth). For the first time in history, Testament is allowing you to own what no fan has owned before.

Gospel Of The Witches - Karyn Crisis' New Band Joins Century Media
Vocalist and visual artist Karyn Crisis has a solo project. While certain people know and appreciate her prior vocals with Crisis from 1993-2006, she is also known for her work in Ephel Duath. She has a new project with members of Ephel Duath, Intronaut and Immolation called Gospel Of The Witches and they have signed a deal with Century Media.

Kataklysm - To Enter The Studio In January
Good news arrive from the Canadian death metallers Kataklysm camp. The group will enter the studio next January to record the follow-up to their critically acclaimed Waiting For The End To Come album. You can expect the new yet untitled album to be released in the summer of 2015 through Nuclear Blast Records. Producer Andy Sneap will be mixing and mastering the record.

Dark Angel - New Material In The Works
The thrash metal veterans Dark Angel might be the next band to release a comeback album after many, many years like At The Gates did this year. At least, drummer Gene Hoglan confirmed in a recent interview that the band is working on "super awesome" and "super aggressive" new material. Their last album was Time Does Not Heal and it came out in 1991.

Bloodstock Open Air 2015 - Confirm Death To All, Nuclear Assault And More
The UK festival Bloodstock Open Air 2015 is already shaping up. The organizers have recently announced another three acts that will perform at Catton Park, Derbyshire in August 2015. Joining the previously announced lineup with headliners Within Temptation, Opeth, Cannibal Corpse, Sepultura, and Ihsahn will be thrash veterans Nuclear Assault and Dark Angel as well as Death To All.

Devil's Highway - New Band Featuring Kyle Thomas, Steve DiGiorgio And More
Devil's Highway is a new supergroup featuring vocalist Kyle Thomas (Trouble, Exhorder), guitarist Ralph Santolla (Deicide, Obituary, Death), bassist Steve DiGiorgio (Testament, Sadus), guitarist Matt Brunson (Crowbar, Kingdom Of Sorrow), and drummer Tony Laureano (Dimmu Borgir, Nile). The band has begun recording its debut album at Vulture Lounge in Tampa, Florida and DDT Studios in New Orleans, Louisiana. Santolla is handling production duties and their debut album is expected to be completed in December for an early 2015 release.

Megadeth - Withdraw From Motörboat Due To Medical Issue
American metallers Megadeth were among the bands confirmed for Motörhead's first annual cruise MotörBoat. Unfortunately, due to Dave Mustaine's health issues, the band had to withdraw from the line-up. Heavy metal all-star band Metal Allegiance - including Megadeth's David Ellefson and Chris Broderick - has been added to the Motörboat music lineup.

Exodus - Fan Arrested For Posting Band's Lyrics, Release Statement
According to 14News.com, an Exodus' fan in Greenville, Kentucky has been arrested for alleged terroristic threats for posting the lyrics to the band's song "Class Dismissed (A Hate Primer)" (from the 2010 album Exhibit B: The Human Condition). Meanwhile, the band has reacted to this and says in a statement that it "does not promote or condone terrorists, threats or bullying. That being said, the band is somewhat baffled by the fact that this man being charged for what seems against his first amendment rights of Freedom of Speech."

British melodic death metal outfit Bloodshot Dawn announce that they will release a sophomore album, Demons, on the 26th of October in the UK (rest of world TBA).
