The best and the worst albums of 2018 in my opinion.

Few notes:

9 - Goregrind - Polish goregrind gods unite!

9 - Heavy Metal - My biggest surprise of 2018. Canonical release.

9 - Goregrind - Warning: this split will make you shit your pants.

Well I seemed to have liked the Slugdge, Horrendous and At The Gates albums a lot more than you did. xD

Skeletal Remains and Necrophobic were really solid albums. Enjoyed both of them a lot.

Anyway, I just took a look at the albums I've listened to this year and some of the albums I'd recommend in the death metal category are:
- Crescent - The Order Of Amenti (blackened death metal)
- Little dead Bertha - Age of Silence (symphonic death metal)
- 1914 - The Blind Leading The Blind (just like Neachy recommended, it's a really great album. Among the best albums I've heard this year)
- Sulphur Aeon - The Scythe Of Cosmic Chaos
- Beyond Creation - Algorythm (technical death metal)
- Cor Serpentii - Phenomankind (progressive death metal)
- On Thorns I Lay - Aegean Sorrow

that HoF deserves 5 or 6 and Behemoth was at least 5 IMO
Prequelle would be 6 too
