Metallica - Load, Reload, Death Magnetic, Hardwired... - all pretty terrible IMO. Strangely the St Anger album cover I don't mind, terrible album though.

Alice Cooper - DaDa has got a great cover IMO. The two albums before DaDa had pretty awful album covers.

This list doesn’t have the appreciation of the new guys or youngest metal fans, cause in the present time maybe those guys don’t have the opportunity to buy vinyls or cds so they just downloaded from internet or listen on Spotify or others platforms, so the artwork are in second line, for other side when we buy a record in the eighties the 50 % of the fun it was the artwork the album cover it was part of the fun… Now the art for most people it is something disposable.

I usually don't write negative comments (with a few exceptions) so I'll just say which ones I like instead. Opeth, Mercyful Fate and especially Death shouldn't be on this list imo. All classic album covers. I also like Slayer's Diabolus In Musica but my favourite one, without joking, is Riot's Narita cover because I think that baby seal head sumo with a giant axe is awesome in a so bad it's good kinda way. The album is awesome too.
